If you have ever seen a show of Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra you know that it is impossible to keep still during their shows. They have so much energy and radiate so much happiness and good vibe that you are in a different place in your life when the concert is over.
The New York show at the Irving Plaza of this Japanese 9-piece Ska band was no different and the audience will surely not easily forget the experience. Playing tunes from their extensive career (they are celebrating 25 years as a band) Skapara kept a very upbeat tempo from the first minute to the last. The audience responded with plenty of dancing and keeping a very active pit, which I am sure fed back into the energy of the band.
